Description

QConBridge is a powerful open-source software tool for the live-load analysis of highway bridges.  A product of the Washington State Department of Transportations Alternate Route Project, QConBridge Version 1 is designed for use with the AASHTO LRFD bridge design guidelines.  QConBridge Version 2 is under development as a community-code effort, and has an extremely ambitious feature set intended to provide an integrated analysis and design capability for bridge engineering practitioners.

Features

QConBridge has an extensive set of features, including generation of a wide variety of live load cases, support for various standard load combinations, plane frame analysis capabilities for integrated bridge/substructure modeling, extensible geometric capabilities for longitudinal and transverse section generation, support for SI or English units, a forms-based report generator, and Windows-style online help features.  QConBridge also includes excellent capabilities for generating visual representations of bridge geometry and bridge response.
